Best Start

The Best Start project is an initiative of the government of Ontario to promote healthy development and learning in children at an early age in order to give them the best possible start in life. This program is intended for families and their children from the prenatal period up to the age of six.
 
Best Start partners with daycare services such as la ribambelle, and community or neighbourhood service centres and that are frequently housed in school facilities. These services are provided by skilled professionals and staff who have access to training and development before and after they are recruited.
 
Through its participation in the Best Start initiative, la ribambelle operates one French-language centre in Sarnia and helps counter linguistic and cultural assimilation by providing excellent services in French!
